I have analysed the present structure and condition of management, I have created a proposal of enterprise development for years 2009 till 2012. The proposal’s essence is the enlargement of company capacity and maret share.

Revitalization Program of Floral Garden in Kromeriz

The goal of this project is revitalization of the Květná garden in Kroměříž, especially the foreland , where an appropriate visitor center is to be created, capacity of which would would provide for the whole garden. The basic principle of this project is rebuilding the garden in its previous state and provide the visitors with what they need to understand and appreciate it. The main point of the design is in relocating the former entrance so as to meet the needs of the newly created visitor center. The foreland is renewed and split into separate spaces to supplement the function of the main garden and provide further utilization options.

Revitalization of a part of Flower Garden in Kroměříž. Solution of new entrance to precinct, information centre, coffee lounge, new building of library, object of gallery and solution of garden-tillage (project of glasshouse and upcountry with office). In existing objects solution of permanent exposition, office, custodian’s flat, educational room. All objects are composed into new lenghtwise axis with points connected to current historical objects.

The subject of this work is revitalization of a part of Květná garden in Kroměříž. This solution is focused on functional division and hierarchy of spaces. The project was created with emphasis od historical context and composition of historical gardens. Project investigates possibilities of moving the entrance into the historical gardens, so that it would compliment the historical and compositional qualities of the gardens. The new entrance also suits the function of the garden better. The foreland is dividend into several hierarchically arranged spaces with various measure of attractiveness. All the spaces are designed to supplement the main area of the garden, not to dominate it. Basis of the design is dramatical visitor center and pulling of the half-public space into the organism of gardens.

Family house with indoor garden

This bachelor’s thesis is focused on proposal of family house with garden’s equipment and goods shop, situated on the edge of Karviná town. It´s a particularly basement two floors’s house. The second floor is designed as attic. The house has two roofs. Living part is roofed with saddle roof, the shop with stand roof. In the family house is situated living part and shop with own background. Shop, dining room and part of the ward is glassed-in.

Problems in translation of Dutch horticultural terminology

In this diploma thesis I concerned myself with translations of Dutch horticultural texts into Czech language, both professional and popular-science texts, as wel as legislative and pragmatic. The aim of my thesis was to analyse different kinds of horticultural texts from translatological point of view and to find out some problematic phenomena, which arise by the reception and translation of these texts. I concentrated also on relations of equivalence between Dutch, Latin and Czech terminology by the names of plants, writing of the scientific names and evaluation of selected texts in terms of text linguistics. First chapter is devoted to teoretical parts of linguistics and translatology related to this problematic and it is mainly based on research of literary sources. Further I concerned myself with some translatological problems, which a translator meets in the area of professional and popular-science literature. First of them was the problem of nomanclatural names, individual botanical categories and rules for writing of the names of plants. From comparison of plant names in expert publications arised that the way of writing of these names is in both languages same and according to the international rules.
